This parent letter was created to discuss what factors affect the learning of literacy for children. I listed the factors in bullet-point form, then I gave a list of effective strategies to be used for student growth and development throughout the learning of literacy. All of these strategies should be used by the teacher, however there are some strategies that parents and guardians can use at home with their children.
